This is a replica of the flintlock blunderbuss which is made from metal and wood. If you have an interest in the pirates in the 18th Century then this is definitely one for you!
Blunderbusses were typically short with a barrel less than 60cm in length. All of these blunderbusses required the manual recharge of their ammunition, which was inserted through the mouth of the barrel after each shot. This was often used by pirates in the eighteenth century, the blunderbuss was very imprecise but was useful in during naval battles where combat was at a short distance.
The replica measures 74cm in height, 8cm in width and 20cm in depth. It is brown and silver in colour and weighs approx 1.90kg.
As this firearm has a mechanism and appearance of before 1870 it can be sold to any persons over the age of 18 years upon receipt of valid ID. We will require verification of your age via a photo or scan of ID showing your name and age before the dispatch your order.
