Reproduction of 6 barrels pepper-box revolver made of metal and wooden grips with firing mechanism and rotating gun.
The pepper-box revolver or simply pepperbox (also "pepper-pot", from its resemblance to the household pepper grinder) is a multiple-barrel repeating firearm that has three or more barrels grouped around a central axis.
It mostly appears in the form of a handheld firearm. Pepperboxes exist in all ammunition systems: matchlock, wheellock, flintlock, percussion, pinfire, rimfire and centerfire.
The pepperbox was invented in the 1830s and was mainly aimed at the civilian market. Its employment spread rapidly and was popular in the United States from the 1830s until the Civil War.
A unique and exclusive piece that any collector will love to have.
As this firearm has a mechanism and appearance of before 1870 it can be sold to any persons over the age of 18 years upon receipt of valid ID. We will require verification of your age via a photo or scan of ID showing your name and age before the dispatch your order.
