Brought this for my brother. It's a great quality replica. Very well made. The sword itself is metal with game accurate detailing on the hilt, handle, scabbard and print on the metal that attaches the blade to the handle. The blade has the black lines as seen in the game when you get to see it up close in the penultimate boss fight. The scabbard is wooden with a navy leather belt characteristic of katana that attach to belts, just like the one in the game. The detailing on the scabbard is very close to the game version too. It also has that satisfying clunk when sheathing the sword. It's not the metallic chink you hear in the game, but still a cool little detail. However, it is a straight sword, not slightly curved as it is in the images shown in the shop or the game. Yamato is supposed to be a traditional katana, they do tend to have that slight curve to them.. The steel blue element on the top of the blade is a lot bluer when you get it home. Images shown in the shop show it as more of a hint of blue, which may be down to screen settings and size of image on the device in use when browsing and making your purchase. It's not an exact replica of the sword as it is in the game (but pretty darn close), hence the 4 star rating. Overall it is a very cool sword and the best replica I have come across at such a reasonable price. Delivery didn't take that long, and the item was very well packed to prevent damages. I would buy from Next Level again.

Delivery was super quick, obviously has to be signed for and proof of id . But at the end of the day even though it does not have a sharp edge ,it's still a serious weapon! Looks and feels weighty and solid. Beautiful detail, definitely worth every penny.
