This is a set of 1825 Italian Dueling Pistols which come as a set in a wooden box, containing two replica Flintlock pistols.

It is a great replica which would be good for a reenactment duel or as an accessory to a fancy dress costume.

This type of gun, known as a Caplock was a great improvement over the flintlock as it was less effected by weather related accidents. The original of this model was made by Brescia, Italy in 1825, it is accuratley detailed and has intricate detailing.
